If you need to update an incorrect payment method on your account, such as an expired credit card, you can easily edit, remove, or add a new payment method on Livjaza.

Edit a payment method for upcoming payments

You can change the payment method for existing reservations with scheduled future payments, like a monthly stay. However, the payment method for the initial payment made when the reservation was confirmed cannot be changed.

Steps to edit a payment method:

Desktop, iOS, Android, Mobile App

Go to Trips and select the trip you want to modify.
Under Payment Details, click Get Receipts And Manage Payments.
Go to Scheduled Payments and choose Update Payment Details in Payment Details.
Update your payment method and select when you want to pay.
Click Submit.

Remove a payment method

You can remove a payment method from your account if it’s not being used for a pending or active reservation or a reservation that ended less than 14 days ago. Additionally, you cannot remove a payment method if your host has requested reimbursement and Livjaza is reviewing the request.

Steps to remove a payment method:

Go to Account Settings > Payments & Payouts.
Next to the payment method, click the three dots icon.
Click Remove.

Add a payment method

You can add a new credit or debit card or another payment method to your account.

Steps to add a payment method:

Desktop, iOS, Android, Mobile App

Go to Account Settings > Payments & Payouts.
Click Add Payment Method.

Note: In some countries, users may be unable to add a payment method directly to their account. In these cases, you must add your payment details on the check-out page. Find out more about accepted payment methods in certain countries.

Set a default payment method

You can choose which payment method appears first on your list of available payment methods.

Steps to set a default payment method:

Desktop, iOS, Android, Mobile App

Go to Account Settings > Payment Methods.
Next to the payment method, click the three dots icon.
Click Set Default.
