If you need to change the dates of a confirmed reservation on Livjaza, you can submit a trip change request to your host.

Here’s how you can do it on different platforms:

Changing your reservation dates

Desktop, iOS, Android, Mobile App

Click "Trips" and select the trip you want to change.
Under "Reservation Details," click "Change Reservation."
Change the dates of your stay and click "Save."
Review your changes and then click "Send Request."

How the cost of your reservation may be affected

Depending on your host’s pricing, changing the dates of your reservation may affect the total cost of your trip. The original and new total will be shown before you submit your trip change request. If the cost of your trip changes, you’ll be charged or refunded, if necessary.

If the cost increases

The additional fee will be charged to your original payment method once the host accepts your trip change request. For some payment methods, guests must submit the additional payment within 48 hours.

If the cost decreases

You’ll be refunded using the payment method you used when you made the reservation.

How weekly or monthly discounts may be affected

Changing the length of a reservation may affect your eligibility for a weekly or monthly discounted rate. The original and new total will be shown before you submit your trip change request.

How pre-approvals may be affected

If you booked using a pre-approval that your host sent, any change to the reservation means the price will be recalculated as if it were a new booking. Your host may offer you the same price as your original booking. Message them to ask, and if they agree, they can send you a trip change request with the price.

How tax calculations may be affected

When a trip change request is accepted, the reservation's taxes are recalculated to apply the most recent and accurate tax requirements for the listing location.

If your host hasn’t responded to your trip change request

If you submitted a trip change request and your host hasn’t responded, try sending them a message reminding them to review your request.

If your host declines your request or doesn’t respond

If the host declines your request or doesn’t respond, your reservation will remain unchanged.

If your trip has already ended

You can’t make changes if your checkout has already passed. However, you can always book a new stay with the host.

If you need to make additional changes to your trip

Once you’ve submitted a trip change request, any later changes must go through the process again as a new request. If your host hasn’t responded and you no longer want to make changes, you can withdraw your trip change request.

Monthly stays

The monthly stay cancellation policy applies if a reservation is for 28 nights or more. When a trip change request is submitted for a monthly stay, the change may happen automatically without requiring approval if:

It’s before the trip, and the reservation is still 28 nights or longer.
The trip has started, but it’s 30 nights or more until the checkout date.

Monthly stays can only be altered automatically by 30% of the stay dates but cannot be altered to less than 28 days. Reservation can also be only altered once automatically. Once a reservation is altered from a monthly stay to 27 nights or less, the host’s standard cancellation policy will apply to future alterations or cancellations made to the updated reservation.
